Come play with clay in my Sebastopol studio with a wheel throwing one-on-one class!

This is a 2 hour private session that will focus on the potter’s wheel. Beginners and Intermediates are very welcome. We will focus on making some cups and we will go through the basics of wedging, centering, pulling and shaping. I will clean up your pieces and prepare them for both firings. At the end of the class, you’ll get to choose your glaze and I’ll glaze the interior for you at a later date.

This class is for you if you want a hands on introduction to the potter’s wheel before you fully commit. Need to get your hands dirty and try something new, this class is for you. Have you taken a few classes before but want to hone your skills, this session will help you get back in the groove. If you have your own wheel at home, but haven’t used it in years and need a jumpstart to get back into it, this one-on-one session would be the perfect thing.

Classes are non-refundable but can be rescheduled if needed. The piece(s) can be picked up in person after they are completed or shipped at cost. After purchase you’ll receive an email with details, location address and instructions for the day.
