Ceramic Art for Your Walls!

These clay wall pieces are part of an ongoing series called “Think like an Oak Tree”. Inspired from b&w photographs I’ve taken of California oak trees over the years, these panels are made of unglazed raw stoneware. I’ve always been captivated by the negative space created between dormant tree branches and sky—creating the most beautiful and organic shapes. These “clay paintings” were introduced at my solo show TIMETABLE at Tama One Gallery this past fall and are now available online for the first time. I think of these large tiles as “clay paintings” and the tactile nature of these panels brings warmth to any room.
